We are pleased to offer you the recording of the webinar “Intercompany Transactions and Consolidation of Financial Statements in Business Central”. During the system demonstration, our senior consultant Maryna Vasyukovych will explain the peculiarities of accounting and consolidation in large and branched companies, holdings, and groups of companies.
In this video, you will learn
– Using a single company as an example, you will learn about different ways of analyzing data: General ledger accounts and sub-accounts, analysis, analysis mode for tables in the system, and reporting options.
– Perform intercompany transactions between companies:
o Setting up a separate company in Business Central as an intercompany partner.
o Setting up an intercompany chart of accounts and analysis.
o An example of intercompany document exchange between partner companies is when a sales order from one company is transferred to a partner company and accepted as a purchase order by the partner company. Such business-to-business transactions can eliminate duplicate data entry within companies, reducing potential errors and saving time.
– Consolidate financial information:
o Consider setting up the consolidating entity, including setting up individual companies as business units to participate in the consolidation.
o Consolidate the financial information of the two separate companies into the consolidating entity and review the consolidated financial statements.
o Consider the ability to exclude (or eliminate) data from the consolidated financial statements.
The webinar will be useful to
– Owners and managers of business and investment groups.
– CFOs and accountants.
– Anyone interested in maintaining records in Business Central.
